Alexander Kaplan

There is no doubt that the brain is the central organ in our bodies. It controls all the other organs, adapts the body to its surroundings, plans, and takes decisions. But how does this all happen?

Neurobiologist and Noôdome community member Alexander Kaplan, who has studied the brain for 50 years, invites you to a series of lectures and discussions on the Brain as a Miracle. The opening topic of this cycle will be our vision: it turns out that we do not see what is actually there in reality. So what type of information do our eyes receive, and how do we form visual images? This is just one of the secrets of the human brain that we will attempt to reveal at our first meeting with Professor Kaplan.
