Alexander Kaplan, Noôdome community member and psycho-physiologist invites you to a fascinating conversation about the nature of mental processes.

Alexander Kaplan’s post-graduate students Lev Yakovlev and Nikolay Syrov will share their dissertation research on the mechanisms by which mental imagery is formed, how this imagery affects our behaviour and decision-making, and how it can be used in brain-computer interface circuits.

We will then talk about the brain and our mental state, the brain and consciousness, imagery and thinking, and images and action.
